TG’s High Street has had a joyful start to 2026, welcoming both new and returning families into a year filled with curiosity, creativity and connection.

In the Joeys Room, educators have been focusing on building safe, secure relationships with children and families. Through songs, sounds and play-based activities, children are developing early communication skills while building confidence and a sense of belonging. Water play, outdoor exploration and sensory experiences have also been a big hit, helping children develop coordination, curiosity and social connections.
Our Boaties children have been exploring the five senses, engaging in hands-on experiences that spark curiosity and laughter. From guessing scents in mystery smelling jars to tasting sour fruits and experimenting with textures like jelly, the children have been learning through joyful sensory discovery.
Our Preschool children have jumped straight into learning through play, exploring nature, sustainability and early literacy. Investigating bugs in the garden, caring for plants and herbs, and starting a recycling project are helping children build environmental awareness and responsibility.
A special highlight this month was a visit from Pilates Collective, where children enjoyed a fun Pilates session to support coordination, balance and body awareness.
