TG's Educators make a difference in early development

At TG's Child Care, our Educators embody professional, qualified, respectful, and caring traits, ensuring each child receives optimal guidance and care. Every Educator is a valued member of the TG's Family, nurtured both personally and professionally. We adhere to the 'TG’s Way,' deeply integrating respect, support, and inclusivity into our culture. TG's encourages Educators to understand their unique gifts, share knowledge, and respect each other's strengths, significantly enhancing learning outcomes.

Kiara ross completed Graduate Diploma

Kiara Ross

At first I didn't see myself having a career in Early Childhood Education. However, once I began the adventure at TG's Child Care in 2011, I didn’t want to stop! During my time with TG's I was fully supported to complete my Cert 3, Diploma and Early Childhood Teacher study. This has continued to deepen my passion and understanding for the value and importance of our role as Educators.

Bella wins Outstanding Trainee Award

Isabella Cordery (Bella)

I used to attend TG's as a child, and the magical experiences of Playing is Learning for Life never left me. I actually decided to go back to TG's when I was 16 to join the TG's Team as an Educator! I am now pursuing my Diploma in early childhood education. It was a real boost to my motivation when I won the Outstanding Trainee Award at the 2024 Uralla Shire Business Chamber Awards.

As new Educators arrive at TG's, they bring their own unique qualities and strengths which help to shape the way that TG's operates on a day-to-day basis. For more than ten years at TG's, I have been able to help new Educators to complete their studies and feel confident to be able to share their gifts. TG's Educators thrive on teamwork. We support clear communication and discussion, always with kindness, love and respect. This helps us to make decisions in the best interest of everyone, and everyone has a voice.

I have had numerous roles at TG’s over the past 11 years - Team Leader, Educational Leader and now Centre Manager being the pinnacle for me. TG's is truly supportive and is always ready to provide opportunities for professional development and growth. As TG's Educators we know this is an environment we do not take for granted. You can start as a trainee at TG's, and if you see yourself as a Centre Manager one day, talk to TG's and the TG's Family is there to support you every step of the way.

Mel Ashley appreciates TG's Child Care Family First philosophy

Mel Ashley

Never have I worked anywhere where I am thanked daily just for doing my job. Nor have I worked somewhere where it is okay to call in sick when you have to care for your children. Over the last 10 years, TG's Family First attitude enabled me to be fully present for my family. TG's takes the stress out of the work-life balance! We see TG's as a great place to thrive personally and professionally. The TG's Way is our shared philosophy that values relationships, learning, and community. It's a testament to how a clear set of values can positively impact every aspect of life and work.

Meg, TG's Child Care NSW State Manager

Meg Barnden-Hyde

My children went to TG's and it was there that I saw for myself how TG's Playing is Learning for Life made a difference for my children. I then joined TG's and went from Preschool Teacher, to Educational Leader, Centre Manager and now I am NSW State Manager of TG's Child Care. It has been 15 amazing years of working and living the TG's Way! Winning the Outstanding Business Leader at the 2022 New England North West Business Award is a testament to how our positive workplace environment is helping Educators feel respected, loved and trusted as we paddle the canoe together!

TG's Child Care

At TG's Child Care, we are stewards of children's futures. Through TG's Way where Playing is Learning for Life, we nurture confident, curious and capable children through meaningful relationships, purposeful play and a deep connection with nature.

Our outdoor learning environment is the "Universe in Miniature" and we foster values, attitudes, skills and behaviours that support sustainable development. By showing care and respect today, we create a better environment and society for tomorrow.

Children can reach their fullest potential when we build meaningful engagements and partnerships with our families and community. At TG’s, we are making a positive and significant difference every single day.
