Centre Manager of TG's Riverbreeze Faye O'Neill celebrates 10.5 years living and breathing the TG's Way!
My children attended Timbertown Child Care when it was owned and operated by Gayle and Trevor. They loved it and so did I. Gayle became a friend and we kept in touch when they moved away.
When they returned to build Hastings Street I approached them for a position as I loved the way they ran Timbertown and was looking for more work. I worked at Long Flat Preschool two days a week it was opened. When they opened High Street, I left Long Flat to work full time at TG’s and moved to High Street, further broadening my journey and continuing the fun-filled adventures of all things TG’s!
Both centres had a special vibe that just made you want to keep going back!
TG’s has gone from a small family to a much larger one, meeting the needs of our community through providing the best quality childcare and education by employing the best of the best.
The day you got given your TG’s shirts was always a proud one. TG’s has provided many people with the opportunity to work and build their skills and knowledge in a supportive and nurturing environment, taking on many trainees and new educators.
I have had numerous roles at TG’s - Team Leader, Educational Leader and now Centre Manager being the pinnacle for me. I now get to shape and support not only the children but also the Educators to be the best versions of themselves.
I have so many beautiful memories of my time at TG's. One of the most memorable is watching the children that you have cared for and educated go off to Primary school with confidence and excitement means that we have achieved our goals as Educators.
To anyone who is willing to follow their passion in the Early Childhood field, I have this to share with them:
Never be afraid to laugh often and loudly, dance like nobody’s watching and advocate for everyone to reach their fullest potential. Live and breathe the TG’s Way and you can’t go wrong!
