TG's Child Care - Riverbreeze, Wauchope
TG’s Food, Nutrition and Menu Planning
Healthy food for positive development.
TG’s children learn to be food experts because they are involved in the entire journey of their meals from garden to table. They have hands-on fun growing food in our gardens. They are trusted with the knowledge and responsibility in caring for these food plants. Children learn about food preparation and appreciate the effort required to prepare their meals. They learn to be responsible for what they choose to eat.
We have fun at mealtimes at TG´s! We talk about our gardening experiences and listen as the children express their curiosity and thoughts about food preferences.
We see children gradually get adventurous with their food preferences and celebrate these achievements as a family at home.
