Healthy food for positive development.
TG’s children learn to be food experts because they are involved in the entire journey of their meals from garden to table. They have hands-on fun growing food in our gardens. They are trusted with the knowledge and responsibility in caring for these food plants. Children learn about food preparation and appreciate the effort required to prepare their meals. They learn to be responsible for what they choose to eat.
We have fun at mealtimes at TG´s! We talk about our gardening experiences and listen as the children express their curiosity and thoughts about food preferences.
We see children gradually get adventurous with their food preferences and celebrate these achievements as a family at home.
Children love our fresh fruit and vegetables especially pumpkin scones, zucchini spaghetti, and the carrots, spinach, zucchini, tomato hiding in our delicious pasta sauces and bases.
We use wholemeal and multigrain bread and 50/50 white and wholemeal flour.
We avoid processed foods, additives and MSG.
We cater to children with various gluten, dairy, nut and egg allergies, intolerances. We make space for personal preferences and we can make them taste great too!
We encourage children to try the variety of foods on offer each day.
TG’s Meals are recognised by “Munch and Move” and
“Good for Kids”.
Our Nutritional program ensures the menu rotates on a 4 week cycle and is seasonal (changed every 3 months).
