Being made to feel welcome and like a valued member of the team has kept Kim Cook committed to the beautiful work she does at TG's Child Care.
How did I get started with TG's? We have come a long way together. TG's bought the centre I was working at. Before that, I had heard that it was a very friendly centre to work at. The Educators that were working there were friendly, so when TG's took over the centre, the transition was smooth.
Everyone that came over made me feel very welcome and like a valued member of staff. This is also why I have stayed here for so long. I have made lasting friendships with the people I work with, which makes work a fun place to be!
As new Educators arrive at TG's, they bring their own unique qualities and strengths which help to shape the way that TG's operates on a day-to-day basis. I have been able to help some of these Educators to complete their studies and feel comfortable to be able to share their gifts.
The most memorable part of my job is being able to become part of the children's lives and helping them along their learning journey, supporting them to gain skills that will assist them all throughout their school years.
