TG's Child Care - Riverbreeze, Wauchope

TG's Preschool & Kindergarten
Preparing Children for Life
Ready for school is simply one milestone.
At TG’s Child Care, children begin preparing for life from the moment they walk through our doors.
Through meaningful relationships, purposeful play and the guidance of qualified early childhood educators, children develop the confidence, curiosity, resilience, independence and sense of belonging they need to thrive.
This is Playing is Learning for Life.

Preschool is More Than Getting Ready for School
School readiness at TG’s doesn't begin a few months before a child starts school. It develops throughout their early learning journey.
Every friendship made, problem solved, question asked, story shared and new responsibility mastered helps children become confident and capable learners.
Guided by the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), our educators intentionally support:
-
early literacy and numeracy
-
communication and language
-
independence and self-help skills
-
emotional regulation and resilience
-
problem-solving and decision-making
-
friendships and social confidence
-
creativity, curiosity and critical thinking.
Because being ready for school is about much more than knowing letters and numbers.

Playing is Learning for Life
At TG’s, play has purpose.
Whether children are building, gardening, drawing, experimenting, storytelling or exploring our natural play spaces and award-winning gardens, our educators are observing, listening and intentionally extending their learning.
Through play, children learn to think, communicate, collaborate, solve problems, take appropriate risks and discover what they are capable of.
They aren't just playing. They're learning for life.
We Prepare Schools for Children, Too
A successful transition isn't only about preparing a child for school. It is also about helping the school understand the child who is arriving.
TG’s supports the transition through experiences such as school visits, transition programs and connections with local schools.
Where offered, Transition to School Statements provide receiving schools with valuable insights into each child's strengths, interests, learning and areas where continued support may be beneficial.
It means children can begin their next chapter not simply as new students, but as learners who are already known and understood.
TG’s actively partners with families and schools to help every child continue their learning journey with confidence.

Known, Loved and Ready to Grow
Children learn best when they feel safe, known and valued.
Through TG’s Way, our values of Love, Trust, Respect, Compassion and FUN shape everything from relationships and learning experiences to the way we partner with families.
Our educators take the time to understand each child, their interests, strengths and individual ways of learning.
That sense of belonging gives children the confidence to explore, make mistakes, try again and grow.
Families Are Part of the Journey
Families know their children best.
We work closely with parents and families, sharing children's progress and inviting their knowledge, goals and experiences into our curriculum and planning.
Together, we build continuity between home, TG’s and school.

Professional Educators. Purposeful Learning
Behind the warmth and FUN of TG’s is professional early childhood education.
Our qualified educators and Educational Leaders observe, plan, extend and document children's learning, guided by the Early Years Learning Framework.
Learning supports all five EYLF outcomes, helping children develop a strong sense of identity, connection, wellbeing, confidence as learners and the ability to communicate effectively.
The Stewardship of Children’s Future
Every relationship we build, every learning experience we create and every opportunity we provide contributes to the person each child is becoming.
That is what we mean by the Stewardship of Children’s Future.
We aren't preparing children for one first day of school.
We're helping them build the foundations for a lifetime of learning.
