Peace of Mind for Families: How TG’s Creates a Safe, Loving Space for Every Child

Updated: 3 days ago

2025 Business Award winner | TG's Child Care

At TG’s Child Care, children’s safety and wellbeing aren’t just policies. They’re part of who we are. Every smile, every laugh, and every moment of learning happens in an environment built on love, trust, respect, compassion, and fun. For over 25 years, families have trusted TG’s because they know their children are not only cared for, they are protected, supported, and cherished.

TG’s Child Care is family-owned and operated. Led by Gayle Kee, a University-qualified Early Childhood Teacher who has a vast experience in Community-Based services, Gayle planted this seed of her vision to provide the community with a nature-based early childhood environment.

"At TG’s, every decision begins with one simple question: ‘What will help our young children really flourish and thrive?’ From the very start, my vision has been to create more than a childcare centre. It’s a place where curiosity is celebrated, relationships are nurtured, and every child is recognised as capable, competent, and full of potential. That’s the TG’s Way. Our play and enquiry-based curriculum grows independent thinkers, compassionate friends, and future leaders, grounded in values of love, care, and respect. This is not just my work, it’s my life’s purpose, and my commitment to the children, families, and communities we serve." – Gayle Kee, Founder and General Manager, TG’s Child Care

Safety Is Woven Into the TG’s Way

From the moment a child steps through our doors, safety is our priority. It’s in the way our educators greet children by name, in the careful supervision of every play area, and in the thoughtful design of our spaces to ensure visibility and accessibility.

At TG’s:

  • We meet and exceed staffing requirements at all times, ensuring continuous supervision and shared responsibility.

  • Our team undergoes regular child protection training, first aid, CPR refreshers, and reflective practice sessions.

  • Weekly policy review meetings keep us up to date with the latest National Quality Framework, Early Childhood Regulations, and National Law requirements.

  • Our Child Safety Officer works closely with educators and families to maintain open communication and ensure concerns are addressed immediately.

Building a Culture of Trust

Child safety at TG’s is not a box-ticking exercise. It’s a living, breathing culture. Our educators are long-standing members of our TG’s family, with many having been with us for over a decade. This stability means children grow up surrounded by familiar faces who know them well, understand their needs, and can respond with both care and confidence.

We also believe safety is a partnership. Families are encouraged to be active participants in their child’s early learning journey, and we maintain open, transparent communication at every stage.

Excellence Recognised at the Highest Level

TG’s Riverbreeze and TG's Hastings St have achieved an Exceeding Rating in all seven National Quality Standards areas, placing us in the top 10% of early childhood providers in Australia. This recognition reflects our unwavering commitment to quality, safety, and genuine care for every child.

More Than Safety. A Place to Thrive

When children feel safe, they are free to explore, create, and grow. That’s why our safe environment is also a joyful one, filled with curiosity, laughter, and opportunities for discovery. Families can leave each day knowing their children are in a space where they are not only protected, but inspired to become the best versions of themselves.

At TG’s, your child’s safety is our promise, and your peace of mind is our priority. That’s the TG’s Way.
