TG's a winner at Uralla

The award-winning TG’s celebrates their win at the inaugural Uralla Shire Business Awards 2018

It was 20 years ago, that Gayle and Trevor Kee began the partnership that would become TG’s Childcare and Preschool. Fast forward 20 years and Gayle Kee has as astonishing story of growth to tell.

“Ten years ago, we were looking for opportunities in a smaller township that didn’t already have a daycare centre. We met Alex Pawlow, Uralla Shire Councils Economic Development Officer. He was incredibly supportive and focused on creating solutions to any roadblocks we came across” says Gayle Kee, Founder and General Manager of TG's Child Care and Preschool.

“Since then, we’ve grown at an astonishing 39% above the industry average, from three to five centres, and from 65 to 138 educators, across Armidale, Uralla and Wauchope in the last 24 months, 674 children enrolled and supporting 521 families every week”.

Last night, Uralla Shire Business Chamber announced TG's as Winners at the inaugural Uralla Shire Business Awards in the following categories:Jake won Best Trainee/Apprentice in the Uralla ShireBek is runner up for Best Customer Service employee in the Uralla ShireTG's Child Care and Preschool (Uralla) won Best Customer Service business in the Uralla Shire"It's such an honour, a demonstration of how much the community appreciates TG's gifts that help shape children's lives.", says Gayle.

Best customer service at TG's means understanding that each child is unique. By carefully planning to meet the needs, interests, experiences and abilities of every unique individual, TG's provide a daily program where your child can feel valued and successful; safe and secure; challenged and stimulated. At TG’s we form a real partnership with parents to ensure your child's early years are the best they can be.

Our highly qualified and motivated educators observe each child carefully and plan appropriate experiences to promote and facilitate all key areas of development. Your child will feel secure and safe and be able to develop positive relationships with educators and peers and fully explore everything we have to offer.

It’s TG’s culture that has helped them achieve this important milestone. ‘The TG’s Way’ has helped TG’s build a productive, purposeful and educational experience for each child. We see the value of the extra educational programs we have put in place for our educators and that flows on to the children. When the children are happy, the parents are happy.

TG’s Way is the philosophy that builds the TG's culture. As Gayle puts it; “There are three foundation stones: building relationships; understanding our gift; and encouraging collective thinking”

At TG’s we invent fun because playing is learning for life.

“We bring this to life through fun, education and playfulness, providing our children adventures everyday, which is evident whenever you walk into any of our services. Everyone can articulate it; not just our educators, but also our families and our communities” Says Gayle.

20 years of smiles, fun and education. That’s the TG’s Way.

Let's Celebrate!
