TG's Child Care and Preschool won the Excellence in Business Category at the Greater Port Macquarie Business Awards 2017.
The TG's Family, Gayle and Trevor Kee, Hannah Prosser, Crystal, Tinker, Coryl Reis, Kiara Ross, Kim Beckwith, Laura Mowle, from TG's Wauchope - Hastings St, High St and Riverbreeze, accompanied by Veronica Lind from Vermilion Pinstripes Sales Marketing and Communications and her husband Ray Lind were dressed to the teeth to celebrate the Business Awards gala event at Panthers Port Macquarie on 29th July 2017.
That night, TG's Child Care and Preschool accepted the Excellence in Business Award at the Holiday Coast Credit Union and Greater Port Macquarie Chamber Awards. Gayle was overwhelmed with emotion as just two weeks ago, TG's won 2 other awards, Excellence in Business and Employer's Choice at Armidale Business Awards.
"To enter - we had to demonstrate the growth we have had, in particular over the past 2 years. We have grown 39% above market growth rate, grown our services from 3 to 5 centres across Armidale, Uralla and Wauchope, from 65 to 95 educators and now supporting 468 children and 376 families every week.", says Gayle Kee, General Manager of TG's.
"We engaged a strong professional support network of experts in business coaching, HR, marketing, law and accountancy to support our growth and management. This has been an amazing revelation!
You don’t play sport without a coach, why would you do business without one? Wish we’d learnt this lesson decades ago!
Some of the initiatives highlighted in our growth strategic framework were to -
1. Build brand confidence by achieving people excellence, increasing community engagements and gaining mind share;
2. Build market share by expanding our footprint and services
3. Achieve operational and service delivery excellence
