Children at the Heart of Every Decision
This month, we shared how the Paramountcy Principle shapes our daily practice. Simply put, it means that the safety, wellbeing and best interests of children come first in every decision we make. Through strengthened child-safe policies, educator training and ongoing reflection, we continue to build an environment where children can thrive with confidence and security.
Supporting Children's Voices and Independence
Our Joeys have been exploring the natural world through gardening, sensory play and outdoor learning experiences. A special visit to the local nursery sparked curiosity as children discovered new plants, colours and textures while building connections with their wider community. By following children's interests and encouraging choice, we support every child to become an active participant in their learning journey.
Growing Healthy Minds, Bodies and Relationships
Across the centre, children have been learning about healthy eating, self-identity and wellbeing. The Boaties explored nutrition through hands-on experiences while developing fine motor skills and confidence. In Preschool, children have been strengthening literacy, numeracy and social skills through games, active play and collaborative learning experiences. They have also enjoyed caring for the garden, harvesting fruit and learning how nature helps us grow.
At TG's High Street, we believe every child deserves to feel safe, valued and empowered. Through meaningful relationships, engaging learning experiences and a strong commitment to child safety, we continue to live our mission of Playing is Learning for Life.
