TG's Child Care will provide periodic updates on COVID-19 coronavirus situation.

COVID-19 Update (22/03/2020): Dear Families, At this point in time we are delivering business as usual at TG's Child Care. Our services remain open and we are here to support the children, families and educators as they go about their lives in our fun-filled educational way.  We are actively monitoring the regular Government and Health Authority advice and announcements and will keep you updated as information comes to hand. If any decisions are made outside of our control, as to what is happening in this ever-evolving situation, we will let you know immediately. Rest assured - NO FEES will be charged if our service is not open.  TG’s Child Care strives to remain vigilant to avoid any possible COVID-19 infections over the following weeks and months.

We remain up to date with information and recommendations from the Australian Government- Department of Health, Department of Education, Skills and Employment on a daily basis, and continue to implement the following practices for our educators, children and families: - Continuing to supervise all handwashing times with children in each room, and guiding children to learn the correct handwashing technique. - TG’s will ensure that all educators are continuing to abide by our strict cleaning procedures to reduce and minimise the risk of infection.  - Implementing quarantine periods on return for all staff and families who are traveling overseas (please see our Coronavirus policy for further information) - We have provided multiple hand sanitising stations throughout all of our campuses, including the foyer and each classroom. Please ensure both children and families utilise these upon arrival and departure. - We continue to require visitors to document their name, date and time of their entry/exit, and the reason for the visit.

As families of children in our care, these following points are very important for you to know and follow to help us keep all of our children, families and educators safe and well: - If you or any of your immediate family members are planning on any overseas travel in the coming weeks and months ahead, please notify your centre as soon as possible. Based on your families living arrangements, we may ask for you to keep your child at home for 14 days after returning to Australia to ensure nobody in your family has picked up the COVID-19 virus during travels and past it on. - If your child is experiencing any cold and flu like symptoms, such as coughs, sneezes and/or temperatures please do not bring them to TG’s Child Care until the above symptoms have subsided. Although we have very thorough hygiene practices and have implemented extra measure into place, coughing and sneezing will send germs into the air and onto other children and educators easily. If your child is experiencing these symptoms while in care, we will call you to come and collect your child. - If you are coughing, sneezing or have any other flu like symptoms, we strongly advise you to not come into our service to drop off or collect your child. Either organise an alternate authorised contact to drop off and/or collect. Please find below a very helpful website with information being updated on daily basis: For the latest advice, information and resources, go to www.health.gov.au Call the National Coronavirus Health Information Line on 1800 020 080. This line operates 24hours a day, seven days a week. If you require translating or interpreting services, call 131 450. We thank you for your understanding and cooperation during this time, should you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact your Centre Manager.
