Lacey, Team Player
Lacey is working towards Certificate III qualification and she has been at TG’s Child Care for 2 years.
Lacey is 1 of 9 children and she has 9 nieces and 6 nephews. She loves them so very dearly and wouldn’t change them for the world. On the weekends she loves going on adventures even if it is just driving around exploring new places. Hanging out with her friends and family. Playing sports is a big part of her life.
Walking through the doors of a morning being greeted with hellos and cuddles makes her day in Early Childhood Education and Care industry. Being able to support the children to grow and strive to be the best that they are. Seeing the smiles on their faces and listening to the laughs, making memories makes her day.
She feels working in the Early Childhood Education Industry would be the best job where you can come to work be silly and have fun and everyone joins in and you are not being judged.
Lacey never forget the mornings when all the children come running up to her wanting cuddles, watching the children graduate each year. She couldn’t ask for a better team to be working along side, it is a privilege and it is an honour to be teaching these children.
To her 'Playing is Learning for Life' is to be able to give the children a sense of belonging and adventure. It allows the child to learn skills like problem solving and working with others.
