June at TG's Child Care: Learning, Growing and Connecting
At TG's Child Care, every month brings new opportunities for children to explore, discover, connect, and grow. June has been filled with meaningful learning experiences, community connections, and celebrations that reflect our commitment to Playing is Learning for Life.

Children First, Always
This month we highlighted the Paramountcy Principle that guides everything we do — placing the safety, wellbeing, and best interests of every child at the centre of every decision. From daily interactions to educational programmes and family partnerships, our focus remains on creating environments where children feel safe, valued, and empowered to learn.
Learning Beyond the Classroom
One of the highlights of the month has been our routine community excursions. Whether posting mail at the local post office, visiting community spaces, or exploring local businesses, children have been building confidence, independence, and an understanding of their place within the wider community.
Our Preschool children particularly enjoyed their visit to Bunnings as well as Autumn Lodge Retirement Village. The children participated in gardening activities, explored different plants, and developed important social and communication skills through real-world experiences.
Celebrating Community and Connection
We were proud to participate in the Armidale Autumn Festival, where children and families enjoyed connecting with the local community and celebrating the vibrant spirit of the region. Experiences like these strengthen children's sense of belonging and help build meaningful community connections.
We also commemorated ANZAC Day with age-appropriate learning experiences that encouraged children to reflect on remembrance, gratitude, and community. Through stories, discussions, and creative activities, children gained an understanding of the importance of honouring those who have served.
Growing Through Play
Across our Joeys, Boaties, Middle Rock and Preschool rooms, educators have been supporting children's individual interests through play-based learning. From music and movement, creative arts, and sensory exploration to language development, social interactions, and problem-solving, children continue to develop confidence, independence, and a lifelong love of learning.
These experiences demonstrate that meaningful learning happens everywhere — indoors, outdoors, in the community, and through everyday interactions.
Celebrating Our Educators
We are incredibly proud of the professional achievements of our team members this month. Congratulations to Keiahna, Megan and Udara on their recent qualification milestones and commitment to ongoing professional development. Their dedication to early childhood education helps ensure children and families continue to receive the highest quality care and learning experiences.
