Gracie Reeves is Leading with Heart at TG’s Urangan

Updated: Nov 1

As we celebrate Directors Day on 10th November, we turn the spotlight on the incredible Centre Managers who bring The TG’s Way to life every single day. They are the heart of TG’s, guiding their teams with love, trust, respect, compassion, and fun, and shaping environments where children, families, and educators can truly thrive.

We are kickstarting Directors Day by celebrating Gracie Reeves, Centre Manager at TG’s Urangan, whose leadership is grounded in warmth, kindness, and purpose.

“What inspires me most about being a Centre Manager at TG’s is the opportunity to make a real impact every single day, not just in the lives of children, but also in the growth and wellbeing of our educators and the broader community,” says Gracie.

At TG’s Urangan, Gracie’s energy radiates through every classroom and garden. She finds joy in watching children explore and discover through play — the foundation of TG’s philosophy, ‘Playing is Learning for Life.’

“That philosophy deeply resonates with me. It reminds me that we’re nurturing curious, capable, and confident little humans who will one day shape the world.”

For Gracie, leadership is about more than managing a centre. It’s about building a community. Every day, she supports her educators in their growth, ensuring they feel valued and inspired. She delights in seeing families feel supported and children thrive in environments that spark joy, curiosity, and connection.

“I feel incredibly proud to lead a team that shares a genuine passion for creating a safe, joyful, and meaningful learning environment. Watching children thrive, families feel supported, and educators grow in their careers — that’s what drives and inspires me.”

When we asked Gracie what she hopes people will remember about her leadership, her answer perfectly reflects The TG’s Way in action:

“I’d want them to remember this: Always lead with kindness and stay true to your values. No matter how challenging a situation may be, I believe in staying calm, thinking things through, and doing what’s right — not just what’s easy. I’d hope they remember that I lead with heart, I listen before I act, and I always put people first.”

And that’s exactly what makes Gracie such a valued leader at TG’s. Her calm strength, compassion, and heart-centred leadership embody everything TG’s stands for — Playing it Forward through love, trust, respect, compassion, and fun.
