Toni-Lee Paine Centre Manager, Riverbreeze Wauchope
From the moment I met with Gayle for my interview, I knew that I would be happy working for and being a part of the TG's Family. It really was that clear to me. And I have not looked back since!
You can see how strong the bond is at TG´s - even across all five campuses, everyone is happy to share their knowledge and gifts. This loving support is what builds a strong team and family. It is not every day that one can say they are genuinely happy to go to work. At TG´s, this is our everyday life - TG´s is a special place and we have a very supportive management team. As Centre Manager, I believe each and every educator contributes something positive to the team. I walk in every day with a smile on my face and we are all naturally motivated to make each and every family feel a sense of welcome and belonging at TG´s.
I have a Bachelor of Education majoring in Early Childhood as well as a Diploma in Children´s Services. I have been in the industry for 19 years and am passionate about contributing to the education of young children. I love fostering a love and zest for learning in little people!
Every child has the right to feel loved, safe and secure. I love the challenge of understanding each and every child, and I adapt my teaching practices to suit each child, allowing them to reach their fullest potential.
It is a very proud moment for me every single time I see a child transit to Kindergarten. It is very fulfilling to know that I have contributed some way to the growth and development of each of them.
At home I am surrounded by love and laughter with my two beautiful daughters Scarlett who is six and Willow who is five. My girls are the best of friends! As a family of four we love our cozy movie nights, spending time with our friends and family and also enjoying the outdoors going fishing!
It may not be immediately apparent but I am a self-confessed nerd! I love books and paper! I actually enjoy policy reviews, researching and investing new ways to implement curriculums, self-assessment processes and documentation! I guess this little hidden passion of mine stands me in good stead at work when it comes to administrative procedures!
