Conclusion of the Early Childcare Relief Package

Updated: Jan 11, 2021

Dear Families, As you may be aware, the arrangements under the Early Childcare Relief Package have now ceased as of midnight of Sunday 12th July 2020. From Monday 13th July 2020, TG’s Child Care will commence the reintroduction of fees. To ensure a smooth transition back to CCS, please do not hesitate to speak with your Centre Manager to discuss the return of fees.

We appreciate that the employment and income of some families has changed, and we encourage you to speak with our team to ensure that you are receiving all of the subsidies to which you are entitled, taking into considerations options such as the ‘relaxed’ Activity Test, as well as the Additional Child Care Subsidy (ACCS) for Temporary Financial Hardship. As per our Fees Policy, fees are payable 2 weeks in advance of your child’s attendance. Education and Care Statements have been sent out to parents and Direct Debits will resume this Thursday 16th July. **If you are set up on a weekly Direct Debit, fees will be charged up to Friday 31st July.** **If you are set up on a fortnightly Direct Debit, please note that this Thursday fees will be charged up to Friday 7th August to reflect being 2 weeks in advance at all times. Please see me as soon as possible should you require assistance with your direct debits. Families are entitled to receive Child Care Subsidy for up to 42 allowable absence days per child, per financial year. These absences can be taken for any reason without the need for families to provide documentation. This is to ensure continuity of fee relief for families where they are required to pay for child care when their children are absent from care, due to circumstances such as illness, public holidays, parental leave and other absence reasons. We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your support during the past few difficult months. We are excited to return to the ‘new normal’ and look forward to focussing our attention on educating and caring for your children and as always, continuing Playing is Learning For Life!
